Cake vs. Cupcakes

Did you know that cupcakes are not just for kids any more? Over the past several years cupcakes are becoming a fun, trendy indulgence for grownups and in may circles serving cupcakes for special occasions is surpassing serving cake. Cupcakes are finding their ways into weddings, grownup birthdays, sweet 16 parties and other special occasions.

So the debate is on - Cake vs. Cupcakes. Which would you rather eat? Which one is your favorite? Which would you rather have for a birthday? What so you think about cupcakes at a wedding?

Choosing between cake and cupcake is not easy. Who can choose between two yummy desserts? But I guess, for me, it depends on the situation or event. The good thing about cupcakes is you can eat it on the go much like a doughnut. With cake, that will be a little bit challenging because we are used to eating a slice on a tiny plate with a fork. But for big events like birthdays or weddings, there is no reason not to include both, depending on the number of guests. It is more efficient to distribute cupcakes to guests because a cake has to be sliced and distributed individually on a plate. With cupcakes, there is no fuss when you eat it.
